A Great Start to 2024 - Somerset Therapeutics Limited facility receives EIR from USFDA
We are pleased to announce that our Somerset Therapeutics Limited facility has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from USFDA after its inspection in October 2023. The facility has been classified as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI), effective March 01, 2024. This will allow Somerset to provide more products, due to increased capacity and more approvals, thus helping the healthcare industry in easing drug shortages.
As per Dr. Veerappan Subramanian – CEO and Chairman – “This is a great start to the year 2024 for the company. I believe this has been possible only due to the efforts of our team and I am incredibly proud of them. This opens up the path for the company to now get numerous products approved, that were pending due to classification of the facility. We are confident in our ability to launch and supply quality products over the next couple of years to assist our customers who have stood by us through these trying times.”
